Monday morning I picked up a 1998 Grand Prix GTP 2dr loaded. Boy was I amazed with this car... Wow. Tuesday morning I made an appointment and had new tires put on, then ran across the street and had an alignment done. Now she handled like she was on rails. Last night I took my woman for a ride in her, boy was she jealous. The GF that is.... Well at least now I don't have to worry about her jealousy. This morning I left my house and the third stoplight I came to was red. You know how it is with these cars, they live for that light to drop to green. It flipped green and I took off. Sort of. A careless driver in a commercial van blew a red light and snagged the rear quarter. UGH. I've never been in an accident and I don't consider myself aggressive. But I've never felt anger like that before. I was PI$$ED. But wait, it gets better. The guy gets out of his van and tells me that the last light he went through was yellow and he must not have been going fast enough to get through the intersection which the collision occurred. UGHHHH well just needed to vent. It's not totaled, and his insurance is going to be a little unhappy when they find out that the body man says there is no way to blend paint on a 10 year old car... Word to the wise. If this ever happens to you tell your body man to take the words blend and filler out of the conversation.
