replace driver power seat without any power?
I understand why, but wish that rule was clearly posted somewhere. Say....I don't know.....on their website, or on a sign at the entrance or something. The guy was still an A-hole regardless.
Oh well. At least I have a shiny new harbor freight power supply/ jumper. I'm sure I'll get plenty of use out of it anyway. Pretty badass for the price. Has got a work light, 2 dc cigarette plugs, a USB power port. Almost got the bigger one that came with all of that, plus a built in 300psi air compressor and power inverter but thought it was a bit too heavy to be lugging around a junkyard.

so I got the car side plug from the 04 GTP today and I'm just trying to figure out, will my air bag light stay lit now? and what else might I be missing, or is there a way to splice the extra wires so everything works. there is 11 wires coming out of my car but only 5 wires on the seat harness.http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...a68b64dac4.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...4d74ffb0ab.jpg

Take your cordless drill in. Find the drive shaft under the seat.. unhook it.. use drill to run it forward.
Or man up and to a 1/8 turn at a time on both bolts.. as the bolts go up.. lift the seat slightly. Sucks..but works.

yeah, I actually found the procedure to do that, but forum won't let me upload the pdf. something about it's size exceeding my quota.
anyway, no matter if I try to hotwire it or manually move it, either way I'll need the drill.

Not if you man up and just use a wrench like I have tons of times
