Here goes another noob question. What kind of cat do I run with headers? Speed daddy's more specificly. Can I just reuse my current cat since it's fairly new?

If it is a OEM replacement cat it will not work. You will need a cat with a 3" inlet and outlet.

I wouldn't. Why go from 3 inches down to 2.25 inches back to 3 again?

There's always a way around it. Plus just got smogged I have two years from now. If the difference is pretty noticeable, I'll just wait to have the money to buy everything together.

you can get a high flow 3 inch cat off ebay for like 50 shipped. they are on there you need to look around.

but those cats set the check engine light most of the time. depending on your year car a simulator will work, newer cars its a 50/50 shot if it works.

I was thinking about getting one from zzp. Somebody in the reviews did say something about the check engine light. Mines a 97 by the way.

I had the ZZP o2 emulator on my 97 and it worked flawlessly. You would be better of getting a tune with the code removed
