    As in the title...

A friend of mine showed me an Android app (I forget the name) which looked like a fantastic OBDII reader. He had some pretty neat gauge capability.

Apparently the setup he had is not available for iPhone. Is there an "accepted" nice OBDII reader for iPhones?

there is but they dont scan for kr.

torque app seems to be the best one going. but its for droid phone. some have it working on a tablet.

Torque app is probably what he showed you. There's is no app available for apple ios that reads obd2. That's why Android is far more superior

    Yeah, Torque app sounds right.

Without reading KR, it seems kinda pointless.

Agreed that Android is superior... except that my company thinks the iPhone is better and they gave me one for free. So I kinda got what I got.

Torque app does read kr. You and run it on any Android device. Find a old phone or tablet with Android and Bluetooth and your all good. Just understand with Bluetooth the data lags a little bit. But overall for 20bucks you can still see what your engines doing.

the one i got. some have had problems with the "mini" version. and i made sure mine said "advanced obd scan tool" at the bottom. some say it, some dont. all i know is my brother has the same one, and it worked in my regal, so its the same one i got.

I have one I've used with my note 3, love the features of torque, when you pay for it. The free versions limited so you get what you pay for.
