I am new to this forum so please forgive me if this has been covered before but... I have a feeling it's not been.
my neighbor purchased a 2002 GTP about 2 years ago it's a NICE car and runs GREAT(i'll explain how we get it to run later) ... only thing is we can NOT get the OBDII to read...therefore no inspection = no driving!!! WE have tried different computer(s) one out of a 2000 GTP also also ordered one that was supposed ot had been flashed to the VIN ofo hte car...All of them seem as though the security prevents the fuel pump from running. WE can run a wire to the fuel pump and run it that way & the car will run out GREAT (except it seems as though it wont go into high gear that will come later on) .ANYONE ever ran across an issue like this before? I think If I recall right this was a wrecked (or maybe caught on fire) vehicle I know the wiring harness was replaced so if any of the wires were burned or messed up that should had corrected this issue right ? so ANY SUGGESTIONS?

    thanks in advance
