Forgot to mention its a 97 grand Prix gtp
Never heard of the abs and tire pressure coming on. I didn't think the 97-03s had a tps sensor to be honest. ABS is anti lock brake, I can see the LOW TRAC, LOW TRACTION like coming on, whatever it is on the dic on your car, but never heard about the abs coming on when you floor it. Ive had 5 and this has never happened, do you think a wheel bearing or something in that range is going out? I only had the abs light come on when a wheel bearing went out on the car.
Ive lost traction on icy and wet roads, and had low traction come on, never abs though. I can hear my abs kick on when i hit the brakes and they lock up and im sliding, but no light. This is very odd to me.
Yeah its weird it doesn't drive different and no pedals feel different. The lights just stay on and only go away when I turn the car off and back on. Just as long as I give it atleast 70% more throttle the lights come on. Car isn't even modded (yet) all I have on is a power log and ubend delete
go to a shop and have it scanned for abs codes. if you cant find anything doing the free checks, hubs and or wires to them. other wise your just tossing money at it hoping it fixes it.
you can also nail the brakes on a dirt road, or gravel road, to see if the wheels lock up. if they lock up abs is not working for sure.
I have a pesky ABS light right now, too. Thought I would share a rumour in case its true in your area... I got a tip at the tire store today that AutoZone counterpersons are using a slightly more capable Actron tool now, that reads ABS codes. Whereas most other stores do offer code reading but use only the simplest unit to do so. I have yet to check it out, but personally I am looking to get rid of the ABS on mine completely and do away with the need for sensors at the wheels. Last time I had my left front hub off- make that two times ago- the speed sensor ring just fell out of it. I looked at that and said hmmm, then mashed it back into the hub (it was an 02 OE) and drove with no issues for quite some time. I think it may be loose again. Anyway- you mentioned tire pressure light so I'll assume you have an 04+ and I really don't know much about those so good luck. Kinda wierd that the bulb is missing. Hope its not an EBCM issue on yours.
my 99 didn't have a tire pressure monitoring system, and my 2001 doesn't have one either, I would be very surprised if your 97 had a tpms. there is a detailed write up on here someplace that lists the steps to take to fix your abs:

even if your abs module was bad aka ebcm you can send it to module master in Moscow, Idaho and they will rebuild it for 150 if they see anything wrong. if you dont want to get it rebuilt you can look around for a used unit, make sure it is compatible and use that. they often sell for around 50, sometimes less.
your best bet is to use a multimeter and check the wires, my abs has been acting up lately, not the first time, and I am about 95% sure I am having wire issues. if you can get a code reader then you can see if any of the other components like speed sensor in the wheel hub, or the wheel hub has gone bad. the ebcm can also go bad.
