New member here, My last Pontiac was a 67 GTO, Prior to that I had a 65 GTO, made that the local street terror, and also hit the drag strip with it, was spending nearly my whole paycheck on it every week............then came a wife and kids......FUN OVER!! So now I am an old man, just turned 67......have a few bucks to spend and still feel like the kid that I was 45 years ago. I always loved the thrill of acceleration......high speed cornering is a big plus. Looking to get either a Grand Prix GTP or GXP, I thought maybe I can finalize my decision by hanging out here.

    Best wishes............GoatBoy

With a gtp you'll get more bang for your buck but there are a couple heavily modded gxps on here and plus we all know the 3800 has a ****t exhaust note compared to an ls4 anywho the downside is that the 4t65 trans is made of
Glass and without proper maintenance the gxps doesn't last long. But welcome

Well hanging out here is a good decision....Goatboy! The gents here are very helpful. Stick around you will have a blast.

Me personally, I would go with either one, GTP and GXP, mix it up a little bit, add a little bit of this a little bit of that and voila.......Lol

Thanks for the input. I am still looking for a car, probably will be a GTP based on price difference.
