Hello, I am new to this site and have a 2007 GXP with a MXO transmission. The trani slips from 1st to 2nd since 65000 km and now is at 147350. There is no codes coming up and has no recalls with the vin. Has anyone else had issues with that transmission? Information and links would be greatly appreciated as my car is currently at the dealer's (again.)

... Yeah its the 4t65e-HD.. not the MXO lol. Clutches wear out pretty quick on the GXPs. Short term remedy is shift kit and trans cooler. But you're only prolonging something that could already be near the end of its life.

All I know is that the tech who's working on the car said it's a MXO. Apparently I need to find out the information first. Then let them know what to fix.

Thanks. I looked at the build sheet and the transmission listed is the MXO. transmission code is 61. There is nothing stating it is an 4t653-hd.

yup. I think I need to find a different service dealership. it's sad when I had to drive down there and look for the train code myself. Apparently, looking on a computer is easier than just looking on the car. Thanks for the help everyone.
