i just completed installation of 3.8 SC series II 97 grand prix gtx motor and tran into 87 pontiac fiero. the shift points are two high in regards to horse power weight ratio. would love to drop over drive to engage at 35 mph rather than 45 mph. there is plenty of power to support the lowering of shift point. I may swap ground signal between lock up and odrive first and see how that works. any sugestions

if you have the OBDII port from the factory harness for the PCM... you are able to go in and retune the shift points.... post up in the tuning or trans section...

that is true and i do have obdII port and can pull codes but do not have softwear to go into PCM. I can send it to canada and have it programed for just postage which may be a good choice.
