Autoparts stores should rent out the gauge, can try to prime the pump 2 or 3 times before you try to start it and see if that makes any difference. If you said it sounds like it wants to start but isn't I'm thinking low fuel pressure because you were just recently messing with the pump. Giving it some gas not change anything?

I cycled the key a few times before I tried to start it . I waited until it had gas in the tank to cycle the key . But when I tried to start it, I found that the battery was dead and the battery had a "bad battery sticker on it when I picked it up from O'reilly's (i had it charged there) . After I had the battery charged, I cycled the key again, still nothing. The windows roll down and the radio turns on though . I haven't tried giving it gas . I was afraid it was gonna flood it . I don't really understand the flooding thing though

It shouldn't flood it. I'd give it a try before pulling the pump again.

Okay . I'll try this first then switch the lines and do the same to see if it works . After I start it one time it should start up fine, correct ?

Hopefully, I don't think these cars can flood,let us know if you get it started

What about starting fluid ? Should I try that ?

Was the car running when you bought it?,seems like if the pump is making a noise that it'd start,so no fuses were took out?

He sold it to me because the fuel pump didn't work . None of the fuses were taken out by me . Could it be bad fuel lines ?

If you can't rent a tester like he was talking about,do you know where the nozzle thing is with a cap on it on the front of your fuel rail?

Yep . Depress it and see if it sprays, right ? Well it definitely sprayed with the other pump in but there was no gas in the tank

I doubt lines,have you looked under the hood and seen if the pump fusese were in there? Or maybe ICM if there is one,just glimps over and see if you see any missing and look over the ones in the glove compartment

Ok must have had some in the line,will it spray with this one?

Not sure yet my car is a couple miles away from me . I walk to it when I need to . The ICM is there and I haven't checked the fuses in the glove compartment .

I mean check if there is a ICM fuse,was the pump out of the car when you bought it?

Oh my bad . I dont know yet . I really haven't tried anything . And no it was not .

Ok,I guess try them few things,thats about all I know to do,I went through that,my pump made the noise but wouldn't start,had to fork out 240 for a new one,just let us know I'll try to think of what else it could be

I will update as soon as I test it. But holy crap $240 ?! It's one for $71 on rock auto .

I know now lol,but got a 5 year warranty, I'll swap it before it ends,got it at auto parts warehouse.com,don't never order from them
