I have a 98 gp gt and I plan on doing a home made cai but I have a stupid question. What are people using for the maf? Or is that a specific part from auto zone or some thing?

Maf shouldn't even be in the equation. Some type of tubing and a place for the iat if you choose to do so and then the cone.

MAF sensor is inside the throttle body already.

The IAT sensor is on the tube, make a hole and stick it back in there. RTV in place or something.

in a 98 the maf is in the throttle body. your ait sensor is in the intake tube. drill a hole in the pvc elbow, and then glue the sensor in the hole. i used gorilla glue cause i know i can snap it free and take it out if need be.
