Hey I got honorable mention!
Not just ultra rare tranny made of unobtainium (yes there's one for sale...contact Ginseng) but fab skills that are beyond the scope of understanding, plus a clutch that's going to cost you $500 and a $150 flywheel and pray the clutch hydraulics are all in good shape because they're becoming almost as difficult to source as the trans. Total swap takes about a week.
Spoiler alert: you are on a tight budget and have minimal knowledge working on a car. A custom transmission is so far out of your price and knowledge range don't waste your time thinking about it. You bought the wrong car if you want a manual transmission.
For the coolant, just do what Scotty says and you'll be fine. When you are refilling the coolant, you can't instantly fill it full - it takes some time for the coolant to flow into the whole system. That is why you'll have to keep topping it off.
Before u upgrade anything. U should make sure everything is functioning properly. Always use good oil. Change at its proper intervals. New plugs and wires. I wouldn't worry about coils unless your having issues. Check air filter replace if needed. Also I would use some carb cleaner. Check for any bad vacuum lines. I would remove you air ideal assist valve and clean it and the bore hole out. Also a tranny flush and filter wouldn't hurt at them miles. As for coolant upgrade to me tel elbows and flush system and use green or yellow. Forget that red crap. Check your motor mounts. That's just some of the things I recommend you do to your care as some preventive maintenance.
its the tools that cost the most. the re build kits are rather cheap really. the chance if fvcking up are good tho. theres a lot of parts, they all need to be there, and installed right, or it wont work.
some have done it, many others have failed. watch some vids, see if its something you really think you can take on.
i know i wont be.
