I would like to take a moment to say how amazing pontiac did creating there cars. My first car was a 1999 grand prix gt, its sad to say I was ripped off I paid $1200 for a car he probably had sat in his yard for years. He fixed it to run then sold it like it was the most reliable car for the money. (No more craigslist for me) strut mounts are coming through, one day I hit the gas a little to hard to try and jump in traffic and my muffler split right at the end of the headers. I been driving it like that for like 5 months. Fast forward 4 months I was thinking I should just find a grand prix that needed a motor with a nicer body and do a swap since my motor had way less miles. Found a blue/black 2002 gp gt
    (Post pics soon)
So far I had some guy tell me he would help me swap my motors for a good price his whole family owned gp's so he has pulled a couple motors out of them before he was looking over the car and the guy I bought it from said it didnt run I got it towed to his shop and he attempted to start it. It fired up better then my car with the head gasket or intake blown. He must have been jealous after it started because I told him I paid 500 and it is seized do to lack of oil (at least thats what the guy told me). When I bought it I was thinking not to much rust pretty clean for the year my motor should fit in perfect and I got a better car. Since it started and the guy who was originally going to help seemed like he was flaking out I said forget it my house is down the street im going to drive it here and find someone that would be more willing. I made it here smooth ride just very sluggish but of course its got a blown gasket. My brother in law came and got it 9pm all the way back to muskegon too work on it. They already removed the heads and tried to find the source of the problem no luck. We are headed down tomorrow to try and see what exactly we need to do. Then after it is running back to normal, UPGRADES!!!! I want a supercharger, new muffler, k&n air filter, if anyone has suggestions let me know. I dont want the gtp because my insurance will jump high as heck im only 21
