hey everyone, new here to the forum and I have an 04 grand prix gtp comp! everything is still stock on it and I am looking do some mods and have been getting quite a bit of conflicting info from people! I have heard that the 04-08 gtps are quite a bit different to tune than the older ones so anyone who some good knowledge to send my way would be great! Looking for a good ems system and what would be the best to do first and what not to do! thanks everyone!

Not too bad at all. The 04-08's are getting tuned and modded more nowadays as they're getting cheaper. The tuning software out there (DHP, HP Tuners) will work on any GP up through '05.

    Here's a good start: http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...ding-Your-3800!

As a general rule, do maintenance first, then supporting mods, only then do you drop pulley sizes.
2003 GT Limited Edition 199k - The $600 winter beater.
2004 Buick LeSabre 172k - Top Swapped, 3.5 pulley, 1.9 rockers, SLP headers... still slow...
    MAKE AMERICA FAST AGAIN!
