First off, it's awesome that there's a specific forum for Grand Prix lovers. Honestly it's in my top 10 'affordable' cars out there. My wife and I bought our 03 GT this past may and absolutely love it.

    But I've got a few quick questions . . .

1 - When it rains my wife is greeted to a big puddle on her floorboard. Now I've heard the whole "gunk in the drain" thing so I had a mechanic blow that out when he was replacing the belt tensioner. Trouble is the leak is still there. So I stopped in at a local body shop and the owner says sometimes the firewall seams can crack and leak after time. My question is this: IF there's cracks what sort of caulk/sealant can I use myself to repair it?

2 - Where is the fuel filter? Due to, well, being broke I could not afford a good GM car for awhile, but the last Pontiac I had it was on the underbody right below a door.

3 - What should a well tuned 03 GT get city/highway? Right now I've got a misfire I'm repairing this weekend, but I only got ~400-410 miles on a tank when we first bought it.

4 - Will an 04 MP3/CD stock stereo fit and hook up to my steering wheel controls? Our old car had an MP3 player, and frankly I don't want something that doesn't work with the orange gauge systems. I'm perfectly willing to buy a second set of plugs in order to frankenstein some dongles and make it work, I just was curious if it even would.

Again, thanks much for the answers -- this is awesome

    1. this is a very common promblem with the grand prixs, the link will explain it all and the fix is only 15 dollars. it could be other things also but it most likly this.
    http://www.grandprixforums.net/f73/w...-fix-6961.html

    2. fuel filter should be on the drivers side towards the back just in front of the rear wheel. follow the gas lines.

    3. gas mileage, well somwhere around 28-30 highway, and 22-24 city is about right. they can be higher just depends on how you drive.
