Hey guys my name is Bill and I'm new to this forum. I had a 97 red gtp/gtx back several years ago and sold it for family reasons. I'm now looking for a nice used coupe gtp to play with some. I've run across a few but they want more than I think I should spend. I'm looking for an unmolested stock car to start with.

To add on to that. Once you find a clean GTP, read this thread if you are interested in modding in any way.

and what do you know about random cars just traded in at dealers across the country? do tell lol

a red gtp is so vague, like anyone would have a clue.

Scoyyydoggs, I am glad I could amuse you in my introduction into this forum. Obviously you know nothing of this car (and I know very little since i'm 4 hrs away from it) but I thought it being modified, the previous owner may have been an enthusiast and maybe a member of this forum or a friend of a member. Never hurts to ask for information, thats why most people join these forums.

im not so much poking fun at you, its a funny request. not every modded gtp is on this board, or on line at all. lots of guys troll the boards and work on their cars and remain anonymous for ever. or never use a forum at all.

if you follow the craigslist thread theres tons of gtp's listed in there, as well as other cars for sale. we dont know any of these cars.

every now and then some one will buy a modded car and show up here and someone will ask, aint that so and so's car? that does happen.

but with out pics who knows, a red gtp is like every other red gtp. if you know what i mean.
