nothing really sounds mean or good. leave it stock.

that just my 2 cents tho. some like the rasp, the popping and back firing sounds when you let off the gas and the drone some can add to the car.

Keep it stock and save your money. Buy a V8 with said saved money. Only way to have a "mean" sounding car.............

pretty much the only set up ive heard and liked, was a full 3 inch cat back. but those were on modded cars. other then that deal i like it quiet.

hear the whine, its a shocker to the ricer lol

I have Thrush Turbos, and like them very much. Little louder than stock imo.

I haven't heard these on a V6 but had them on a mild V8 and was pleased with the balance of quiet idle to wide open loud. They are a partially fiberglass packed straight-thru box-type muffler which sounds different (to me, better) than the tin can sound of empty, chambered mufflers. These are the same thing just with some glass for a less raspy tone. Don't know if they make a cat-back for GPs but they mght. The muffs are available in several configurations and theres sound recordings on the site here:

All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.
