My hood liner insulation is looking pretty janky. Its dusty/dirty and crappy looking. I have the 40th GTP with heat extractors and it seems like the liner is blocking the heat's way out a little bit. Just wondering if I should rip it out?

I took mine out many years ago. They really don't do much, they hardly keep heat in and when a engine fire happens they couldnt help stop the fire anyway.

You may notice different condensation patterns on the hood but thats about it. Worst part is making the underside of the hood look acceptable after all the neglect!
