I have an issue that randomly started last Thursday morning. My windshield wipers will not move very fast at all. They're stuck at one very slow speed regardless of the speed I choose (cranking them all the way up doesn't change the speed at all). Has anyone had this before? My dad mentioned that it could either be the alternator or the wiper motor. Does anyone have any suggestions? Everything else on the car seems to be working as intended (other than a squealing noise that sometimes happens at speeds less than 20mph and is unrelated to braking).
