Hey everyone im new here! Bought my first GTP the other day and have a few questions about it. 98 GTP with 120,xxx. I have already changed out the supercharger oil and i am thinking about a few basic modifications.

The first being a trans-go shift kit.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Transgo-Shif...ed9e77&vxp=mtr

^That is the cheapest i can find it but i want to make sure it is a legitimate shift kit for our cars?

Also i found these but im not sure if they are worth it?

Also any other tips would be great. THanks!!

Underdrive pullys are just a waste of money. Read this http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...ding-Your-3800!

THank you. And i have read the safely modding your 3800 thread.. Are both of those pulleys really a waste of money? No gains?

Also, i was thinking about buying an aluminum transmission pan when i do the shift kit.. Thoughts?

Hell no for 180 bucks, my advice is stay off ZZPs website. It wont cool your trans any better and if you want a pan with a drain bolt dorman makes one for a hell of a lot cheaper than that. You can buy a trans cooler for like 50 bucks off ebay and it will cool the trans wayyyyy better and a transgo shift kit for about 45. Dont forget the new trans filter!

I hate to say it but Russ is right (this time)

Yea stop reading off ZZP site they're are a vendor and trying to sell items to you. Want cooler trans temp trans cooler, plus pan drop/filter and shift kit and you'll probably come out way cheaper and it'll be more beneficial to you.

Ok thanks for the advice. So this is the right shift kit? Just making sure before i buy: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Transgo-Shif...ed9e77&vxp=mtr

And i looked on ebay for a trans cooler but all i could find were transmission cooler lines and connectors.

Looks right to me, search up Hayden 403. 02NavyBlue has one along with a write up he did on installing it iirc
Edit: he has a write up for the shift kit not the cooler.
