So I'd been driving around a bit with no problems, about a block from my neighborhood I decide to stop and gas up. Taking off from the gas station the car kinda gives up mid acceleration. I notice the rpm needle gets up to around 3-3.5k rpm's where things dont feel quite right so I let off the acceleration the car feels like its breaking and the rpm's drop, the power dims and the rpm needle does not hold steady bouncing between 800-1200 rpm's.

Anyone have an issue quite like this?

    Thanks.

Unplug your secondary o2 and see if it moves. If so it's a clogged cat

My car does this too it seems around 40-60km it just hesitates then finally throws you forward a little dangerous. Of course my mechanic cant find anything wrong....especially since he sold it to me.

So I had the issue last week and took the car in. They gave the mass air flow sensor a good cleaning and told me it was fixed. So I take their word for it pay for it over the phone and pick the car up after hours Friday night. So after driving a few blocks I notice its still having the issue. Took it back on Monday since they aren't open at all on weekends. and they replaced a loose elbow joint near the MAP sensor.

This seems to have fixed it in my case.

Thanks for the feedback and hope this helps out someone else.
