hehe hell yea saved me paying for extra labor, they charge $90/hr, thank god they found the short and fixed it, in under an hour thanks to my trouble shooting. I bought jumper wires and connected them to the fans from the batt and they started right up (that told me my radiator fans where still in working order) and since I test all the fuses and relays I was able to tell them exactly which fuse was causing the problem. They said the blown fuse was causing my computer to loop, not letting the car take over.

he was right, no maf hooked up and the car wont leave closed loop, what it warms up on, ( first start of the day) once warm the sensors take over.

so it was pretty much running on pre set pcm setings.

if the codes were cleared it will take some time for it to be "ready" few days some times.

Why do you say they aren't working? Setting codes? If so what codes?

Cleared and ran the codes at the shop after it got fixed and the oxygen sensors bank1, bank 2 came up. They used a $7,000 coder reader with a touch screen (looks like a bulky ipad) and it told me what was wrong without the codes. The check eng light came back on too later that day.

You might be right, I stop by auto zone tomorrow and rescan the codes and see what pops up.

The actual codes would be more helpful than the cost of their scan tool. Also you car doesn't have 2 banks of o2 sensors. It has position 1 and position 2. Go to an auto parts store and have them read the codes.

head off to a parts store and have your car scanned, its free. post the code, we can go from there.

codes important, theres a few codes per sensor, it matters what one you got.

Man that reminds me my cel is permanently on now, it comes back after one drive cycle now. The heater is permanently open apparently, before it would stay working for a few months at a time. I just have to get a better socket or heat it more to get it out. The funny thing is I've replaced 3 o2 sensors this week alone at work....and I can't even do my own?! lol.

did you clear the code after you put the new o2 in? it can take days for it to clear its self.
