You probably could, assuming they're the same short block (bottom end of the engine) then do a top swap with your S/C, heads, exhaust, and all related parts (wiring, belts, brackets, etc). You'll also need new gaskets, have to swap the PCM, and a few other parts, but as long as the block is the same, it should work fine. Check the RPO codes (on the inside of the trunk lid) and look for L36 or L67. If both cars have one of these codes, then the engines will swap.

What color is the smoke?
Is blue, then you might have a clogged PCV system or it's getting past the rings. Do a compression test.
If a white/grey smoke, thats coolant and can be fixed with some new intake gaskets.
And putting that 05 L26 motor (if car was NA) will not be a direct swap if going into a supercharged car (L32).
You can swap the block, but your heads, lower intake, supercharger and everything else must be swapped over. Then you'll need exhaust mods because now you'd be running a high compression block and you'd want it tuned in my opinion to just be safe.
