I am not mechanically inclined at all so I was wondering how much a shop would charge to put 1.9 rockers in my '02 GTP. All I know is that the installation is considerably less of a hassle compared to a cam. What has everyone heard of shops charging?

Depends on how the shop is going to do it.. I imagine instead of the whole air compressor to keep the valves up thing they're going to want to pull the head.. Yup my guess expensive.

If they wanna pull heads they are retarded. Local mech charges $200 to do springs and rockers .

That's local though so keep in mind not everyone does things a certain way. Not to mention it's more money for them if they pull the heads.. Yea there's shortcut guys like us have discovered but try explaining to a Joe Schmo how to for example install headers The Billboost way to cut down on labor times.
