Hi, I'm new here. I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GT.(My first car) I bought it back in September with 63,000 miles on it for $4,800. Its had no issues. I put a K&N intake in it and a Si Performance chip. Interior is a bit rough but fixable. Its been a blast to drive so far.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Performance-...42c4c8&vxp=mtr It actually works really well. I feel a difference in power. I recently put one in my moms car(G6) and it did also improve her fuel economy by about 3 MPG on the highway.

Looks kinda sketch. I know that with HPTuners (The VCM scanner part of it actually) you can increase timing and change the AFR (things that increase gas mileage/power) without changing the tune, but doing so increases your chance of knock and leaning it out which is very bad if you plan on going full throttle. the ebay ad says it interfaces through the OBDII port, is that correct? because thats how the VCM scanner connects.

    The butt dyno lol.

    Welcome to the site.

But I must sigh, those "chips" don't do anything but make your wallet lighter, sadly. A simple change in driving style or running the correct grade fuel could be an easy +/- of 5 mpgs.

    Nice looking white Grand Prix.
sorry, I kinda knew the answer.....I figured you would get a warm welcome if I asked it.
You have the hash marks for quickness.....
so you can ditch the chip.

A resistor that plugs into the OBDII port?
