I have been having an overheating problem for the last month or so.

Ive got a lot of work done on it, but the car in general drives pretty rough, lots of noise and vibration, so am not sure if theres a coolant leak or not or if the thermostat is jacked up.

Ive left it at Christian Brothers for a check but am worried will have to dispose it and buy a new car, I hate buying cars.

    Any ideas?

    Coolant is full?

Tried bleeding the cooling system of air yet?

Maybe the water pump can't keep up?

Its reallly hard to guess at it over the internet.

Okay - finally got this fixed. 2 intakes into the coolant tank were leaking, got them replaced.
Now the car is running v v cool. In fact the temperature is always on the 1/4 mark and very quiet too.
Also the rack and pinion assembly broke, got that replaced as well! It was a defective part so that was free.
