I have a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix base 3.8l non-SC. My car comes to op temperature correctly however my heat is not near as hot as it use to be. Thermostat has recently been replaced with an OE 195 degree. Just blow warm. It use to run you out. Suggestions?

Coolant level is perfect. Im thinking it may just need a flush but not sure if that could cause the issue...

man its that time of the year for sure, this is the 3 rd no heat in as many days.

grab both heater core hoses, if they are cold, or one is cold, flush the heater core. its air bound.

take both heater hoses off the alt bracket, put a garden hose to one hose till water flows solid out the other hose, then do the other hose to back flush it. put the hoses back on, the heat should now work.
