I drove my car into the garage yesterday without the exhaust crossover attached. That sounded pretty awesome.

I have headers, ubend delete, and high flow cats from ZZP and res delete with stock mufflers, it's deep, throaty, and decently loud. I like it a lot. If you're going to do exhaust I'd definitely recommend something similar to my set up. I hear a lot of GPs here in the detroit area that just sound plain bad or too ricey with muffler deletes. But then again it's all about personal preference. If you like it, who cares what other people say!

Do you have a sample video of your setup? I know the people on the forum will bash pretty much anything loud on the v6, but that's because they've been there and heard exhaust like that. The owner may like it at first but get tired of it and go with what they recommended in the first place anyway.

I do not, I could take a video and upload it tomorrow after work and post it on here, and as much as I like my exhaust I do want to upgrade the mufflers to get a little more rumble. And don't get me wrong I appreciate a custom exhaust in just can't stand when people just go to work with a saw and think it sounds awesome lol but again like I said, to each his own and if you like what you've done to your car than that's really all that matters!

I didn't entirely delete my resonator though, There is a couple clips of mine from that thread. One was stock cat, 20" glasspack res, stock piping, and mufflers. The other is 3" Catless DP, 20" glasspack, stock pipe, and mufflers.

I'll put it here for easier access. I have to say it's not bad at all. It is a tad loud for me but it's much better than I was expecting.

Hardly any rasp, and none of that fluttering sound I've heard a lot of with aftermarket exhausts.

Yea it is a little too loud for my taste after the downpipe. I want to change it up with a longer glasspack, or new resonator and put a pair of Magnaflow's on.

I heard a Regal GS the other day and it sounded great compared to mine, Don't know what muffler set up they had but it was deep throaty sounding and more refined.

I just threw on zzp headers, TOG catted downpipe, 3" zzp exhaust and mufflers. I dont have a resonator right now (ordered one). Very deep tone but the drone was killing me. The resonator should take car of that and give it that deep yet tolerable tone.

This is the setup I had on the black car, stock manifolds, stock cat, cherry bomb glass pack and no mufflers. I need to get a clip of my current setup its nice and quiet even with headers. And Grimsin you should add in a glass pack where the res was, it will get rid of that nasty rasp.

    Any glass pack would work.

I hope so too. My TOG downpipe hangs lower than stock. I am already scraping going in and out of my driveway... I hope the resonator doesnt scrape too hard. Would shorter dog bones lift my exhaust up a hair?

I don't think you can run shorter Dogbones w/ headers I don't think there's another clearance between the front header and the fans.
