whats a hcc solenoid? never heard of one.
how deep was the water? check the air box for water?
in the end it could be wet wires and such, a day of drying out will fix it sometimes.
I meant tcc solenoid, Sorry!!! That is a torque converter clutch solenoid that is on the transmission. Water was only about a foot deep but that was in June of this year. Let it set over the HOT summer but to no avail. Feels like the transmission is trying to catch up and the engine light goes On and OFF and ON and OFF ect. Just wondering if there is anyone else who had had this problem and was able to fix it without having to get into the transmission. Thanks for the reply.
tcc is inside the transmission. sounds like its not the problem.
flashing check engine light usually means multiple misfires. its either you need a tune up real bad, or ignition coil or icm is bad or the cat is clogged up.
if you can get the code read that would help, should be a stored code from the flashing cel.
Running through water can mess up electronics. Start with ignition
