    has anyone ever put a gtp motor in a gt car. and if so how hard is it.

    i have a bot cars one is a 2000 gtp with a trashed body and trans. then i have a 2002 gt that caught fire. i have both cars and both r gutted in the engine bay.

    Yeah you can, the swap is easy as pie, sorta.

    Its getting it to run correctly that can be an issue. A custom PCM tune would be needed aswell.

    Or you could just install a supercharger to a GT. lol

    You can swap the wire harness over to the GT, and the PCM.

    But the trans is different. Its the same case, but parts inside and way its controlled is different than the GTP's 4T65e-HD transmission. Files are different, so it wouldn't drive anywhere.

    I already uave transfered the final drive and valvle body with a shift kit into the gt trans.

    The 2002 gt caught fire so harness and motor are junk
