I just bought a 2000 GT and was trying to figure out a few things. I have some bubbles on the trans dipstick and hear a strange noise when going up a steep hill. I was also wondering about this DEXCOOL thing and there is gunk in the radiator. I also just had an alignment but the front wheels still look slanted in at the top. Where are the upper ball joints? Any help will be appreciated.00p0p_7X4Dlb1QESA_600x450.jpg

They run a negative camber stock. We have no upper ball joints on these GM cars.

Bubbles in trans fluid likely means its too low on fluid or has too much. Check the dipstick when the transmission is up to temp and on a flat ground.

Thank you for your help, and yes there is too much in there. With the car cold and off the fluid is above range as well as when warm and running. Hope there is no damage.

Yeah, while cold the level will always be above the "line" on the dipstick, once warmed up it should drop. But I guess in your case there is just some extra fluid in there.

No real damage can happen aslong as its not super overfilled by like 1-2 quarts or more. It might be overfull my .5-1 quarts to cause some small bubbles. You can stick a tube down the fill tube and suck some out if you want.

UPDATE: Well I've had the car only 5 days and the check engine light just turned on after filling the gas tank for the first time. Also, this Auto A/C thing is buzzing, it wont change where the air is coming out. If anyone knows anything about this, please help. Such a nice looking car though, but 5 days?!!!? Wish I had a Delorean.
