Just helped my niece buy a used 1998 Grand Prix GT with 140,000 miles and quite a lot of general upkeep needed. I have been making some minor repairs, ie. brakes and CV Boot. Seems that the boot clamp (passenger side) was torn off by rubbing on the frame. I think the previous owner might have replaced the dogbone upper mounts with the wrong size. Is that crazy talk? How can I be sure that I have the correct mounts? Thanks for the forum. I have a feeling that my new life's mission is to keep her car running.

    Welcome

Upper mounts only decide the tilt of the engine. Lower mounts will determine the height.

But lets keep the tech talk on the original post. http://www.grandprixforums.net/cv-bo...ame-81837.html
