    Hello,

I have a 2001 GTP that I have just replaced the water pump, coolent elbows, Upper and Lower Radiator hoses, heater hoses,180 degree thermostat, the radiator cap and used new coolant and when going up hills/mountains or driving in traffic, the car over heats with the A/C on, when the a/c is off it runs at about 210 or slightly over.

I felt both upper and lower radiator hoses and they are both hot and the both fans are working. everything is pointing to the radiator but I thought I would ask in-case someone has ran into this before.

The car has 203,000 miles on it and runs smooth with no noise, the lower intake manifold gasket was replaced at about 100,000 and does not appear to be leaking, there is no oil in the coolant and there is no smoke (White or Black) coming out the tailpipe.

I appreciate any help that can be provided

If all the air is out of the cooling system I'd kinda want to say we have a failing radiator.

Thanks I'm going to try to get all the air out next, i filled up the radiator and kept topping it off until the engine fully warmed up but i never opened the bleeder screw. I was seeing a few different threads for doing this with the radiator cap off and on, what is a good way to get all the air out of the system?

Fill the rad, remove the thermostat housing and pour coolant in there to make sure its full then put it back on. Have the res tank at the proper level and put the rad cap on and start the car.

Run it till it reaches OP temp, so around 190-200ยบ, open the bleed screw for only 2-3 seconds and close it, do that every 20-30 seconds untill no more air bubbles. I usally do it 5-10 times just because I think that how many its going to take to make sure its all out.
