    it wont hurt anything to put a cai on a stock exhaust system will it? i ordered headers and will be here in a few days should i wait for them or will it hurt anything to go ahead and put on the cai?

    Pulley size is the worry here.

    The intake isn't restrictive really...so it'll just make quite a bit more noise...you'll probably notice a little better throttle response from it...

    The big restriction is in the manifolds/downpipe though...which your purchase will replace. Don't worry about the catback though...it flows fine up to about 350~ WHP. If you want a different noise though, swap out the mufflers.
