Springs and retainers I would also change out the valve seals while you are in there.

    But

I personally would just get the stock modified rockers instead of the more expensive Yella Terra ones. They will work just as well if not better.

    : )

air compressor, valve spring compressor and plug adapter if you're going to do the work with heads on engine.

Not hard to do. Installed 1.9 YT's, ls6 springs and retainers along with new viton seals in a day with lots of beer breaks. You might want to do your LIM gaskets too if not done yet while things are kinda opened anyway. As for the modified rockers, well yeah, they give the same opening, but I vote for the rolling rockers thank you! : )

Lol... After I did mine that way, I felt I should've just pulled the heads and did them too. But I have two other sets (heads) now I can screw around with, lol. So... Will wind up pulling heads soon anyways and swapping a set that's fluxed and going to port/polish them! Hahaha... But it was fun to do anyways, worried like crazy about air pressure dropping and losing a valve into cylinder but was never an issue. Easy with right tools is only why I mentioned them : )

Honestly I wanted to avoid pulling the heads when I did mine. Ended up dropping a valve and having to pull them anyways lol and beat myself up for not just doing that originally much easier but then that led me to taking my heads to the machine shop to have them checked lol.
