I've had this car for about 4 years. Its been parked for the last 1-1/2 due to many much needed repairs. I acquired the car from a trade of a wore out 1994 suburban. When I got it it had 206,000 miles on it. The motor and sc were rebuilt at 192,000 miles. I'm very impressed with these cars. I just finished getting the car road worthy again. I took it out for a test drive today and soon realized how much fun this car is to drive. I now have 311,000 miles on it and you would never know from looking at it. Here is what I have done so far:

Changed the oils and filters-engine, trans, super charger
    Replaced the steering rack
    Outer tie rod ends
    Both front wheel hub assemblies
    New tires and 4-wheel alignment
    New lower solid motor mount
    flipped dog bone bushings
Replaced many worn out vacumn lines
replaced and sealed the infamous leaking valve covers
Flushed out the dex-cool and filled with new pres-tone green
    New front brakes
and here is what i have planned for the future:
    Finish back brakes
    Replace the worn sc coupler
    Exhaust-headers, down-pipe
    programmer
    3.5" sc pulley
    180 thermo
    build my fresh air intake
My ride is victory red & silver and again you would never believe it has 311,000 miles on it.
I stumbled onto this site from go-ogling how to fix weak motor mount issue. What a great site to have stumbled onto. I have been going through forum pages for the last week now, and am amazed with all the knowledge and wisdom from the fellow members of this site. You Guys and Gals know your stuff
