air filter?

Bought the car with a k&n filter cone filter already on the car. For those of you with the same mod, does your car hesitate if you hit the gas for a short time as soon as you step on the pedal? Its almost like a hiccup like an air issue? Don't seem to affect anything but was wondering if that's normal for this modification or if there is a fix? If needed I can try and take a video if my explanation isn't clear.

No that's not normal you have a different issue.

Awesome lol. It has been this way since I bought it about 3 years ago. Any ideas on what it may be? If in park and I just tap on the gas it almost sounds like it wants to die. But it don't. Never notice it driving at all. Like if I hit the gas and hold it the issue don't come. Just a quick tap and release

Any recent work done?

Have you cleaned the MAF sensor or the throttle body yet?

Newer mass air flow sensor. Have not cleaned the tb. And yea check engine light is on. Catalytic converter code
