    Hey folks first time here and already need advise. I have a project going pulling the engine from a Grand Prix. I pulled all the bolts out and can't get the engine to separate from the tranny. Need a little help if you please.

    There is 3 areas to check.
    Did you get the "backwards" bolt? The bolt head is on the engine side not the trans side. You can see it looking down the trans from the passenger side wheel well.

    2. Did you take out the torque converter bolt

    3. Did you take off the bracket that goes from the trans to the engine. (by the oil filter)
    97 Bonneville SE Not so much a 97 anymore

    I did all but the bracket by the oil filter. I thank you Nighthwk12 you have helped a bunch man .Thanks again !!

    It is also way easier to put the reverse bolt back in form the passenger side wheel well. Just need about 3' of extensions. (well worth the investment)
