Is a u-bend delete worth the hassle on a n/a powered 3.8? With no mods whatsoever?

What will deleting it do for me? Is it a horsepower adder? I know it will free up the flow a little but will there be any noticeable difference in acceleration?

Maybe a tiny sound difference and possibly a couple crank ponies. But that's it. Mainly it will help lower your amount of knock.

I got a dp from ZZP shipped for $200. I didn't notice a big difference in power, however my exhaust became louder and deeper. Defiantly a good first mod. If I could do it again though I'd buy speed dady headers for about the same money.

I think the headers are around $250+ and mabe $80 for a cat (if you need it). There's a couple good threads on here about headers. I don't have headers so I can't say for sure but from what I've read it seems like a better rout then a down pipe.

get the downpipe. its like 180 bucks with a cat converter. you can put it on yourself if your car isn't all rusty.

headers is for lots of flow for modded supercharged cars that need the increased flow. those cheap headers are going to be more hassle than you'll ever need do deal with on your car.

for you neither is going to make any real difference you can notice other than sound and looks.

    Ok then.

Anyways, the ZZP dp is easy to install yourself, took me a couple hours to bolt up (easier then headers). Only complaint is the cat is CanAnMex and not Magnaflow like advertised.
