Hey everyone, I just got my first car and yes, it's a 1999 Grand Prix GTP. I love the car but it needs a few things I could use some advice on.

First off I believe the coupling in the Supercharger has gone bad. Any particular coupling thats better than the rest to replace it with? Also i've heard something about needing like a gasket/sealer type thing for the nose cone if I remove it?

Secondly I have about an inch of water in the passenger side of my car.. I've heard this is common though and I just need a new cowl retainers. Stupid question but where are those located in the car?

Lastly after a day of owning my car I noticed that if I let it sit for a few hours it'll crank a bit before starting but if I start it immediately after having it running it will start right up.. I've noticed if I pump my gas pedal before starting it won't crank very long at all (maybe only once or twice instead of 5 or 6 times) My service engine soon light came on and so I pulled the code and it's p0440 which apparently means evap system no flow during purge.. could this be related to my extended crank time? and is it a common or serious issue?

Thanks in advance for anyone who takes the time to respond to this.

Supercharger coupler ZZPerformance - Supercharger Coupler #ZZ-SCCPLR, in the 2 drop down boxes add on the supercharger oil and the swap kit.

    How to fix it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSsSctYvOoI

    Water in floorboard http://www.grandprixforums.net/water...-fix-6961.html

A code P0440 could mean one or more of the following has happened: The gas cap is not installed or working properly The purge solenoid has failed The canister is plugged and not working properly
