Recently purchased a beaten 2000 GTP that is going to be put back to new/ back to life. Besides tearing down the engine, suspension, etc... the gauges do not light up, the air/ heat does not turn on, and the radio does not display. This is all I know of, right now. Not driving it currently. I saw that the driver info display is working. When I turn on the radio, it plays sound. All interior lights seem to be working. Anyone have this issue before?? Pops says it could be a BCM issue? Also some say it could be the ignition switch? Also, if it is the BCM... where exactly is that located? Thanks for the help!

Not sure I can help you with anything but the radio. If it still plays and the buttons light up, it's just the display that's not lighting up, there is a bulb behind the screen that is most likely burned out. Oh look there's one sitting on my desk right now, here's a pic.

You can see the bulb on the top right, there is a slot

Yeah. It is a possibility. We are going to begin work on it shortly. I will keep everyone in the loop as to what we come across and do with this issue. Have to check a bunch of fuses yet. I really appreciate ya sending this though. It will definitely help with my Grand Am issue which has this exact problem that you helped me with here. As far as the GTP... will have to see.
