Hello everyone I just was to give a quick salute to all of the Gp owners out there. I am new to the forums but not new to Gps's I just traded in my Rock solid 1997 3800 GT. For a 2004 GTP comp G. I really preffered the older body style but since this vehicle is my daily driver, I needed something with low miles and I couldn't find any 03's with less then 70k on the clock. My Gt had 147k when i traded it to the dealer and they gave em 2400 for trade. The 4 gtp only had 38k on the clock and was loaded. I guess the dealers are hurting to sell because I got it for well under book. I guess it wasnt seling because of the color. Its Green I am starting to warm up to it. First green vehicle I drove since being in the marine corps LOL. For the price and the mileage I would have bought this car in hot pink if i had too.! Well I hope to get some great advice from you boys, I cant really budget to much for mods since this is my second car and daily driver but CAI , rims, and a ground effects kit are int he works. talk to you all soon and be safe out there.

    Welcome to the community.

I pretty much said the same thing about my Green GTP. But over time I have warmed up to it, though I would give it up for a silver or gulf blue, but over time I have come to enjoy the color, there doesnt seem to be a lot of them around.

its looking better everyday LOl green seems to be very rare and i like sticking out in the crowd. I have gotton lots of compliments so far. Might slap some black or grey racing strips on this puppy just to make it even more of an odd ball.

thanks I really loved y 97 GT but she was really starting to feel her age. when the rear brake lines popped on me in a panic stop that was the straw that broke the camels back. wife insisited that I replace her. or dirve the jeep limited from no on. the truck is fun but nothing beats a 3800 in traffic. best engine in my book for the price ! and now with this super charger wow its like another world,. always wanted a gtp GP just thought it would be a 97 through 03

thanks i hope I enjoy the 04 as much as i did the 97 , have to say the 04 feels allot tighter inside then the older body. the air bags in the rook line take up allot of space.
