Rocker panels have paint on them tried everything it won't come off Any ideas

Tried what?

Airplane grade paint stripper should work, and a sander...I don't see why it wouldn't take off old paint like that.

Mineral spirits. Lacquer thiner zip strip. Can't sand surface is not level

Are you talking about the chrome piece on the rocker panel? 0000 steel wool should take care of it. That's what I used on my El Camino.
