Greetings. Had to join this forum out of necessity. My son has a '07 Gran Prix that has developed a water leak. Sure enough, the dreaded ELBOWS. Pretty good deal! Just joined, found the problem, found the cure, found the procedure. I thank you. I appreciate forums that are out here to help each other. Keep up the good work. You just don't know how valuable you are. Hoping to find a downloadable service manual next.

    Later.

I meant a PITA as in the failure rate, haha. No they are too easy to knock out.

Well, today we fixed the elbows. The top one was broken at the o-ring depression on the engine side. We replaced both elbows. Bad news is the broken piece went into the engine. Hope and pray that it doesn't clog something up. Kind of doubt it since the broken piece is intact and not fractured into pieces. Took it for a long ride and everything seems to be good, so far. Thanks again for the source of information. I may be a short-timer here because my son is in the process of selling the Grand Prix. I think he has had enough.
