I think I have to give you a sort of story to make you fully understand my question. So here goes:

So I go out to my car and start it. She starts normally. I go in the store so I shut it off for a half hour or so. I go back, and she starts noticeably rougher. I go to another store and go to start her again about a half hour later. She turns over, then immediately dies after reaching idle. So I try again and the same happens: she dies immediately after reaching idle. So I try again, this time working the gas, giving it enough fuel to keep the rpms above idle. After revving for a couple seconds, I let off the gas and she dies immediately. I try a fourth time, working the gas and easing off the pedal slowly. This time, she is able to stay alive but I can smell something burning. I've had this issue every time I try to start her any more than 2 times per hour. I'm thinking its a bad starter, but at the same time I think it could be the Fuel Injector or the gas lines. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Clean the MAF sensor, the IAC valve and the entire throttle body. After that see what its like.

Its not a starter problem, most of the time the throttle body is super dirty along with those sensors and can cause these problems.

Check the fuel pressure it could be the pump? See if it bleeds back. There is a hole in trunk too get at the pump if you need too replace it.
