In the middle of replacing the brakes on my Grand Prix and I've run into an issue. I have done many brake jobs on many different cars but this is my first on this one and I have never encountered this setup with the parking brake in the rear caliper. The parking brake is not engaged but for some reason, it seems to be preventing me from compressing the piston. Is there some trick to this setup? Something I need to do to disconnect the parking brake maybe?
