I have been searching since august for this bad boy and I finally found one. Unfortunately I will have to part with my 02 40th anniversary gtp. A few noob questions. How good is the gas mileage? I've seen it written down but those are only estimations. The only thing wrong with this gxp is that the HUD isn't working. I turn the knob press the arrows and page button and nothing happens. so what gives? Any input greatly appreciated.

the hud, turn car on and look down through the hole through the windsheild. if its lighting up or you can read it, its fine. just the spring broke. tell us that and i will go from there.
Gas mileage depends on how you drive em

Hey man for the HUD that's an easy fix as mine was messed up when I got mine. Hardest part is taking it out of the dash. Took me about an hour to get dash apart very carefully. Then its as simple as taking the glass top off then using epoxy to glue the spring back in place.
For gas mileage my gxp tends to egg around 18 city and I've seen 28+ highway but its all flat land around here and I have a light foot
