    i did a intake gasket swap and put everything back the way it should it sat for three weeks but still wont start any ideas? it has new spark plugs, new spark plug wires, and new coils.

    did it run after you finished the gaskets?

    could be a broken vac line.

    no it didnt i just finushed put it all back together and there was one plug that had a extention that doesnt plug into anything around where it is

    some cars have a extra plug off the rear of the engine. so if your sure everything is plugged in, it should be ok.

    start with the basics, check for fuel and spark.

    it has fuel and spark but it start sputs and the wont stay on and then it back fired then wouldnt start after that it hasnt been started in over 3 weeks

    double check your plug wires.

    its the same.

    if its popping and back firing, thats a usually some sort of ignition problem. icm could be bad or something like that. still a chance yo left something unhooked too. i can only assume it ran ok before you tore it apart.

    Check the connections at the ICM and MAF as well as the one by the coil packs that connects your crank sensor/cam sensor to the PCM and ICM
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
