So on gp when u turn the heat on my head lights turn off and so does my d.I.c but my headlights turn back on and d.I.c takes a good 10 minutes to turn on but it only lights up and says my doors are open and my trunk are open and also my windshield wiper fluid is out and I also have to reset my mpg cause it just bounces around
And I know that I got a hole in my catalytic converter and I'm not getting the best mpg
And I've looked for messed up wires when I had the dash apart and I don't want something serious happen

it sounds like your car is losing alot of voltage. test the output of the alt, it could be going bad

only working on hishest level is the resistor, it wouldnt cause the power loss issue. when i bought my 97 the battery was cracked. to get it home i jumped it and made sure not to touch the radio or anything but i went to lreach for my cigs and hit the heater and the car died.
