Is it better to keep the Trak on all the time or should I shut if off? Right now I shut it off because I live in a very dry climate that doesn't really require the benefits of what Pontiac says the Trak is supposed to do. Thanks!

Trac you mean? You only need it off if your spinning tires all the time
TC delete mod. As in broken speed sensors.
Stabilitrack will help you maintain control of the car in emergency swerving etc.
Yes, it's the Stabiltrak button on the dashboard.
From his other thread - http://www.grandprixforums.net/oil-l...tml#post913613
It's on the dash, TRACtion control, only controls wheels spin and some timing when going WOT if I remember right. If you plan to be racing light to light everywhere you go, you may want it off. Driving normal doesn't matter. 97-03 do NOT have Stabilitrak so don't think the car will correct itself if you try to slide it out of control, you will get no help lol
Personally I think you should keep your foot out of it until you get the "small things" straightened up, and then drive it properly so you don't blow it up. We have a couple threads you may read up on if you plan to mod the car for more power. If you need any help searching for them just let us know. Top middle hourglass, "safely modding", "cheap mods", "buyer guide". Read and learn so you don't relive previous mistakes.
